Hi Vis Whippet Coat – Waterproof, Fleece Lined Winter Dog Coat

Keep your whippet, greyhound or lurcher warm, comfortable and easier to see during darker walks with our handmade Hi Vis Orange Whippet Winter Coat.

Designed specifically for the deep chest, slim waist and long back of sighthounds, this high visibility dog coat combines a bright orange waterproof quilted outer, lightweight insulation and soft fleece lining for practical protection throughout autumn and winter.

Available in two styles – our original Ziggy Coat or a soft Fleece Neck Coat.

Important – Please Measure Before Ordering

Each coat is handmade to your selected size and supplied measurements. Please double-check these before ordering.

1. Back length: Measure from the base of the neck, following the spine and continuing over the tail by a few inches, or to where you would like the coat to finish. The measurement in inches is the coat size you should select.

2. Chest circumference: Measure around the deepest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.

3. Neck circumference: Measure around the base of the neck.

Please do not choose a size based on a coat purchased elsewhere, as sizing can vary between manufacturers.

Choose Your Hi Vis Coat Style

Ziggy Coat – Matching Quilted Neck

Our original Ziggy Coat features the same bright orange quilted waterproof outer fabric extending up the neck, creating a smart, streamlined design.

The matching quilted neck provides additional coverage while maintaining the coat’s distinctive sighthound shape.

Fleece Neck Coat – Soft Fleece Collar

This style combines the bright orange quilted body with a soft, contrasting fleece neck.

The comfortable fleece collar provides additional warmth around the neck and can be folded down to suit your dog’s preference.

Both styles feature the same insulated quilted body, soft fleece lining and adjustable waist belt.

Three Layers of Warmth & Weather Protection

Each coat is constructed using three layers:

• Waterproof quilted outer: Bright orange fabric to help your dog stand out in low-light conditions while providing protection from wet weather.
• Lightweight insulating wadding: Adds warmth without unnecessary bulk.
• Soft polar fleece lining: Provides a cosy, comfortable layer against your dog’s body.

The high visibility orange fabric is particularly useful for early morning walks, evening outings and dull winter days.

Please note that high visibility orange fabric is not the same as reflective material.
